Óbidos Medieval Market

Óbidos is a beautiful town in the district of Leiria (west region). Built around a magnificent castle, Óbidos is famous for the beauty of its narrow streets and also for its events: The Chocolate Town, The Christmas Town, and the Medieval Market. Each July, Óbidos castle hosts a traditional “Medieval Market.” For two weeks, the castle and the surrounding town recreate the spirit of medieval Europe.
