Lisbon Folk Parade

Every year in June, Lisbon celebrates the popular Saints’ Days, especially St. Anthony, the patron saint of the city. The celebrations culminate on the eve of St. Anthony’s Day, when the folk (and colorful) parade, representing the various districts of the city, descends upon Avenida da Liberdade, in the heart of Lisbon.
