Dark Sky Alqueva, is the first destination in the world to have secured certification as a Starlight Tourism Destination from the Starlight Foundation. Thanks to that certification Alqueva has gained a new and dynamic life when night falls with visitors able to enjoy an unparalleled view of the night sky in the reserve.
