Lajes do Pico (Pico Island)

Lajes do Pico is one of the three main villages on the island of Pico. Mainly linked to whaling activities, it is nowadays the main place where cetacean observation activities are carried out, much sought after by tourists. Not to be missed, the whaling museum and the typical architecture of the region can be seen in all the picturesque streets.
